And so it begins....

A long time ago in a galaxy far away (Bristol to be precise) I decided to be a crafty little madam and pick up a needle and thread.  This was the first time that I had really done any embroidery since the age of 11 when I was given a Muppets cross stitch!  So being Christmas time I thought that I would try my hand at making my friends presents.  Below is the pocket of a vintage apron I made for  best friend with a tweaked pattern from the Doodle Stitching book by Aimee Ray. 

I hope you like it, be gentle it's my first post and my first project.
